Kenya and Mauritius have agreed on the establishment of a Joint Commission of Cooperation (JCC) within one year of singing of agreement.
The objective of JCC will be to enhance and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
This was reached at during a Ministerial working session held at Port-Lous, Mauritius between Ministry Foreign Affairs C.S. Amb Amina Mohamed and her Mauritian counterpart Hon. Seetanah Lutchmeenaraidoo, G.C.S.K
During the meeting the two Ministers reviewed the status of relations between the two countries and stressed the importance of enhancing close economic cooperation.
The two Ministers also exchanged views on areas of possible cooperation and collaboration between the two Countries.They also agreed to address impediments which hinder bilateral trade.
