Kenya and Angola Explore Economic Partnerships

 The Ambassador of the Republic of Angola to Kenya, H.E. Mário de Azevedo Constantino, today paid a courtesy call on Mr. Evans Maturu, Head of the Economic and Commercial Diplomacy Directorate at the State Department for Foreign Affairs. The meeting reaffirmed the cordial bilateral relations between the Republic of Kenya and the Republic of Angola and explored opportunities to strengthen cooperation in economic and commercial diplomacy.

Discussions focused on boosting trade and investment through existing institutional frameworks and increased private sector engagement in both countries. The two sides also reviewed preparations for the upcoming Kenya–Angola Business Forum, scheduled for February 2026 in Kenya, to be jointly organized by the Angola Agency for Private Investment and Export Promotion (AIPEX) and Invest Kenya (IK).
