A delegation from the International Trade Centre (ITC) paid a courtesy call on Mr. Evans Maturu, Ag. Deputy Director General for Economic Affairs and Commercial Diplomacy. The ITC, a collaborative entity between the United Nations and the World Trade Organization focused on bolstering international trade, was represented by Deputy Executive Director Ms. Dorothy Tembo and Ms. Aissatou Diallo, Head of ITC Office for Africa.

The deliberations centred on potential collaborative programs in the application of data science to enhance trade and the establishment of joint training initiatives aimed at transforming strategic Missions into Economic Hubs. The ITC is taking part in East African Community (EAC) Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Trade Fair, scheduled to commence on November 7, 2025 in Nairobi
