Send an email to diaspora@mfa.go.ke with the following details:

1.      The full names and passport number of the distressed person;

2.     A brief of what happened/transpired;

3.     The sending agency’s name and contact details in Kenya and their counterparts in the Foreign State;

4.     The name and contacts of the employer;

5.     The contact where the distressed Kenyan can be reached at; and

6.     Exact location where the distressed Kenyan is to be found. 

Note: A copy of the employment contract is required

Further to this, we wish to inform you to:

1.      Contact the Kenyan Agent who facilitated employment of your relation/ daughter/ son since the agent is responsible for repatriation together with their counterparts in the country where the distress is reported;

2.     If the agent is not cooperating, besides reaching the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, reach urgently out to the National Employment Authority (NEA). NEA is the regulatory agency for all recruitment agencies that will be able to assist you to get the necessary assistance you require.
