State Department for Foreign Affairs Engages Educational Institutions ahead of Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities Conference 2026
The State Department for Foreign Affairs hosted a consultative engagement between the Deputy Director General of the Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities Directorate, Amb. Daniel W. Wambura, and representatives from selected educational institutions in Kenya ahead of the inaugural Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities Conference scheduled for June 2026.
The meeting forms part of the Ministry’s ongoing stakeholder consultations aimed at strengthening collaboration with institutions that contribute to the welfare, learning, and support services available to the diplomatic community in Kenya.
Discussions focused on fostering partnerships and exchanging perspectives on how different sectors can continue supporting Kenya’s position as a preferred diplomatic hub, while also exploring opportunities for broader collaboration in education and community engagement.
Representatives from a cross-section of educational institutions participated in the consultations as part of preparations for the June 2026 conference.
